Die Gat Guest House, a farmstead and historic monument, is situated in the valley of Middelplaas ("the farm in the middle"), near De Rust. It has been in the hands of numerous generations of the Schoeman family since the early 1800s.

The 4x4 route is situated in a kloof cut deep by the Slangrivier. The route offers steep inclines and tests your skills driving on sand, over rocks and through water.

We offer 2 comfortable self-catering chalets in Witsand about 10km from our route.

Enjoy stunning scenery on easy to ride, semi-automatic, 160cc Suzuki quad bikes. Trips are focused on enjoying nature so the driving is relaxed.

Rafting Route 62 takes you on an exciting excursion in the heart of the Breede river valley. The trip is about 12 km long and meanders down, passing some of the nicest wine estates in the valley.
