How better to start the Dryland Traverse than in one of the wonders of the world, the Cango Caves, yes, the run will start underground in the deepest darkest chambers below the Karoo landscape and finish on the foothills of the mountain.

The beautiful and untouched gem of the Garden Route, Storms River Village, will host riders on this, a 3-day mountain bike stage ride designed specifically around the family. For those of you that have not yet experienced the south's best kept secret will surely get to know the unspoilt natural forests of the Tsitsikamma area. With tracks hugging the rugged coastline and views only seen on postcards, we promise the weekend of a lifetime.

Sand, sea, clouds and pebbles are recurring elements, as well as objects of African origin.

The 4x4 route is situated in a kloof cut deep by the Slangrivier. The route is driven clockwise and offers many exciting challenges while you drive through scenic kloofs, through the river and between planted lands. The route offers steep inclines and tests your skills driving on sand, over rocks and through water.

We offer 2 comfortable self-catering chalets in Witsand about 10km from our route.

The Donkey Trail offers an authentic heritage experience that takes you on an extraordinary hike over the Swartberg Mountain.

Accompanied by the donkeys, you are able to walk to the Hell, as the pioneers of yesteryear...

Rafting Route 62 takes you on an exciting excursion in the heart of the Breede river valley. The trip is about 12 km long and meanders down, passing some of the nicest wine estates in the valley.

Cango Ostrich Show Farm is en-route to the Cango Caves. The farm is privately owned and managed. 29km from Oudtshoorn, at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley, lies the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo - the Cango Caves.
